We are working in partnership with a well-established, forward-thinking multi-disciplinary law firm in Loughborough. Due to continued growth, the firm is now seeking an experienced Practice Manager to play a key strategic and operational role in the business.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded Practice Manager who enjoys having real influence across a firm and working closely with partners to drive efficiency, compliance and sustainable growth.

The Role

Reporting directly to the Partners, the Practice Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the firm, ensuring that operational, financial and regulatory functions run smoothly and effectively. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing the firm’s operational management across all departments
  • Managing compliance, including SRA and regulatory requirements
  • Financial management, budgeting, cash flow and liaison with accountants
  • HR responsibilities, including recruitment, performance management and staff development
  • Implementing and improving systems, processes and case management tools
  • Supporting strategic planning and business development initiatives
  • Acting as a key point of contact between partners, staff and external suppliers

The Ideal Candidate

We are keen to speak with candidates who can demonstrate:

  • Proven experience as a Practice Manager or similar senior operational role within a law firm
  • Strong working knowledge of SRA regulations and legal compliance
  • Commercial awareness and confidence handling financial and operational matters
  • Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach with the ability to manage change
  • Experience within a multi-disciplinary or growing practice would be highly advantageous
