THE ROLE
As a Litigation Solicitor, you will manage a varied caseload, providing expert advice and representation across both civil and commercial litigation matters.
This role involves working with a broad client base, handling disputes ranging from contractual issues and property disputes, to debt recovery and contentious probate.
Key responsibilities include
- Managing a caseload of civil and commercial litigation matters from instruction to completion.
- Representing clients in court proceedings and negotiating settlements.
- Conducting legal research and preparing case strategies.
- Drafting legal documents, including pleadings, witness statements and settlement agreements.
- Liaising with clients, other solicitors, and court personnel in a professional manner.
- Supporting and mentoring junior staff when required.
ABOUT YOU
To be considered for this role, you need to
- Be a qualified Solicitor with at least 4 years’ PQE in Litigation (Civil or Commercial)
- Have a strong understanding of the litigation process and proven advocacy skills.
- Have excellent communication and client care abilities.
- Have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Have solid organisational skills, with the ability to manage a busy caseload effectively.
