The Role

As a Dispute Resolution Partner, you will play a pivotal role in driving the firm\’s contentious practice forward. You will work closely with a team of high-calibre legal professionals, providing strategic leadership and expert advice across a broad range of disputes, including:

1. Arbitration and mediation
2. Commercial contract issues, including technology, outsourcing, and supply chain disputes
3. Contentious probate
4. Corporate disputes, including claims following acquisitions and between shareholders
5. Defamation
6. Franchising and licensing disputes
7. Injunctive relief
8. Intellectual property infringements
9. Judicial review
10. Professional and other negligence
11. Public procurement

Key Responsibilities:

1. Leading complex dispute resolution matters, ensuring high-quality client service and commercial solutions.
2. Strengthening existing client relationships and developing new business opportunities.
3. Mentoring and developing junior lawyers within the team.
4. Collaborating with colleagues across departments to provide a full-service offering to clients.
5. Contributing to the strategic growth of the firm\’s Dispute Resolution practice.

About You:

1. A proven track record as a Dispute Resolution Partner or an experienced Senior Associate ready to step up.
2. Strong expertise in one or more of the key areas of practice listed above.
3. A commercially focused approach with the ability to win and retain business.
4. Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and client management skills.
5. A solid network of contacts and a history of successful business development.
