An exceptional opportunity for an ambitious and commercially minded Corporate Partner to join a leading national firm at a pivotal stage of growth.
We have been exclusively instructed by one of the UK’s most respected Top 50 law firms to appoint a Corporate Partner in its thriving Milton Keynes office. The firm is recognised nationally for its strategic vision, progressive leadership, and first-class client service.
With a clear growth strategy and significant investment in its Corporate offering, this appointment represents an opportunity to take a senior leadership role in one of the firm’s most dynamic practice areas.
The Role
As a Corporate Partner, you will take a central role in leading and developing the firm’s Corporate team in Milton Keynes, while collaborating closely with peers across the firm’s national network. You’ll have access to an established client base, sophisticated internal support, and the freedom to shape the strategic direction of the practice.
The team advises a diverse portfolio of clients, from ambitious owner-managed businesses to major national and international corporates. The work is varied and high-quality, encompassing mergers and acquisitions, private equity, joint ventures, corporate reorganisations, and corporate finance transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and grow the Corporate practice within the Milton Keynes office.
* Manage complex, high-value transactions for a broad client base.
* Drive business development initiatives and nurture existing relationships.
* Collaborate with other Partners to deliver a seamless, multi-disciplinary service.
* Mentor and develop the next generation of corporate lawyers within the firm.
About You
You will be an experienced and forward-thinking Corporate Partner, or a Legal Director / Senior Associate ready to step into partnership, with a demonstrable record of success and commercial insight.
You will bring:
* At least 8+ years’ PQE in Corporate law, ideally within a recognised national or regional firm.
* Experience leading complex transactions across M&A, private equity, and corporate finance.
* Strong commercial and strategic acumen.
* A network of contacts or demonstrable business development capability.
* A collaborative, client-focused approach consistent with the firm’s culture.
