We are delighted to be working exclusively with a highly regarded Top 50 UK law firm to appoint a Commercial Partner to its thriving Milton Keynes office. This is a strategic appointment within the firm’s national Commercial team — an area that continues to see significant investment and growth. The role offers the opportunity to lead on high-value commercial projects, advise blue-chip and mid-market clients, and play a central role in shaping the direction of the firm’s Midlands presence. The Role As a Commercial Partner, you will join a national team recognised for its technical excellence and pragmatic, business-focused approach. The work is diverse, encompassing commercial contracts, supply chain agreements, IP and technology matters, outsourcing, data protection, and strategic projects. You will have the autonomy to grow and lead the Milton Keynes Commercial offering, supported by a well-established national network and market-leading brand. Key Responsibilities: * Lead the Commercial team in Milton Keynes, with responsibility for driving growth and strategic development. * Advise on a full range of commercial matters, including complex contracts, outsourcing, IP and tech transactions, and regulatory compliance. * Build and nurture client relationships with regional, national, and international businesses. * Collaborate across departments to deliver integrated, cross-practice solutions. * Mentor and develop junior lawyers, promoting excellence and collaboration. About You You will be an experienced Commercial Partner, or a Legal Director / Senior Associate ready to take that next step into partnership. You’ll be a strong technical lawyer with commercial acumen and leadership capability. You will bring: * At least 8+ years’ PQE in Commercial or Technology law. * Experience advising on complex commercial agreements and strategic projects. * Excellent client care and business development skills. * A proactive, collaborative, and forward-thinking approach. * A following, client portfolio, or strong network within the Midlands (advantageous but not essential).
