Synergy Personnel Ltd are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager – Facades to join a £6m façade project based in Southampton. This is an initial 6-month contract with strong potential for further work.
Working under an experienced Senior Project Manager, you will take responsibility for managing façade installation works on a live construction site while maintaining strong relationships with the main contractor and subcontract teams.
Project Scope Includes:
- Curtain Walling installation
- Insulation works
- Entrance doors
- Rainscreen (RS) cladding
- Ground floor soffits
- Plant room cladding
Key Responsibilities:
- Day-to-day site management of façade works
- Coordination of subcontractors and site operatives
- Ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to specification
- Reading and interpreting construction drawings
- Liaising confidently with the main contractor and site teams
- Maintaining site records and reporting progress
- Supporting the Senior Project Manager with project delivery
Requirements:
- Black Card CSCS (Management Level) – Essential
- SMSTS
- First Aid at Work
- MEWP for Managers certification
- Proven façade / external envelope experience
- Strong IT skills and reporting ability
- Confident communicator able to represent the subcontractor professionally on site
- Experience managing curtain walling or cladding packages preferred
