Synergy Personnel Ltd are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to deliver a new build residential development of houses and apartments near Portsmouth, Hampshire.
A respected regional developer is seeking a proven Site Manager to take full responsibility for a high-quality new build scheme, from superstructure through to final handover. This is a 14-month direct contract with the client, offering long-term stability and the opportunity to lead a flagship housing project.
The Role
- Full site management of a new build residential scheme (houses and flats)
- Managing subcontractors and direct labour
- Driving programme, build quality, and health & safety performance
- Coordinating with the Project Manager, design team, and client representatives
- Managing logistics, sequencing, and short-term planning
- Overseeing works from superstructure through to internal fit-out and handover
- Ensuring compliance with NHBC standards, building regulations, and company procedures
- Maintaining accurate site records, reporting, and quality documentation
About You
- Have proven experience as a Site Manager on new build residential developments
- Have delivered houses and/or apartment blocks from structure to completion
- Are confident managing subcontractors and driving programme performance
- Have strong technical knowledge of modern housebuilding methods
- Lead from the front with a proactive, organised and professional approach
- Take pride in delivering safe, high-quality, well-run sites
- Hold SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid (or be willing to obtain)
Package & Contract
- 15-month direct contract with the developer
- Salary: £50,000 – £60,000, depending on experience
