Synergy Personnel Ltd are currently recruiting for a Site Manager – Residential New Build & Conversion Project (Near Portsmouth, Hampshire).

A respected regional developer is looking for an experienced Site Manager to lead delivery on a mixed residential new build and conversion project near Portsmouth, Hampshire. This is a 15-month direct contract with the client, offering the chance to take ownership of a high-quality scheme from structure through to handover.

The Role

  • Day-to-day management of site operations and subcontractors
  • Driving programme, quality, and health & safety standards
  • Coordinating with the Project Manager, design team, and client representatives
  • Managing logistics, sequencing, and site planning
  • Ensuring smooth progression from structural works through to finishing stages
  • Maintaining accurate site records, reporting, and compliance documentation

  • Have proven experience as a Site Manager on residential projects
  • Understand both new build and conversion environments and their technical challenges
  • Are confident leading teams, solving problems, and keeping the project moving
  • Have strong communication skills and a calm, organised approach
