The role:
We are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to take commercial responsibility for a portfolio of projects across multiple sectors. You will ensure cost control, accurate financial reporting, and strong commercial performance from pre-construction through to final account.
Key responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage project budgets, cashflow, and cost plans.
- Prepare valuations, variations, claims, and final accounts.
- Procure subcontractors and negotiate contracts.
- Monitor project costs against budgets and forecasts.
- Lead commercial reporting using Procore.
- Work closely with project managers, site teams, and senior leadership.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients and supply chain partners.
About you:
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within construction contracting.
- Experience across education, healthcare, residential or commercial projects beneficial.
- Strong understanding of UK construction contracts and procurement routes.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and reporting skills.
- High attention to detail and strong financial acumen.
- Procore experience advantageous but training can be provided.
