Synergy Personnel Ltd are currently recruiting for a Site Manager – Residential New Build & Conversion Project (Near Portsmouth, Hampshire) A respected regional developer is looking for an experienced Site Manager to lead delivery on a mixed residential new build and conversion project near Portsmouth, Hampshire. This is a 15‑month direct contract with the client, offering the chance to take ownership of a high‑quality scheme from structure through to handover. The Role You’ll be responsible for: * Day‑to‑day management of site operations and subcontractors * Driving programme, quality, and health & safety standards * Coordinating with the Project Manager, design team, and client representatives * Managing logistics, sequencing, and site planning * Ensuring smooth progression from structural works through to finishing stages * Maintaining accurate site records, reporting, and compliance documentation About You You’ll be a great fit if you: * Have proven experience as a Site Manager on residential projects * Understand both new build and conversion environments and their technical challenges * Are confident leading teams, solving problems, and keeping the project moving * Have strong communication skills and a calm, organised approach * Take pride in delivering well‑run, safe, and high‑quality sites Package & Contract * 15‑month direct contract with the client * Salary: £50,000 – £60,000, depending on experience * Opportunity to deliver a standout residential development with a committed project team If you’re a driven Site Manager who thrives on responsibility and wants to deliver a project you can be proud of, this role offers a strong platform to do exactly that
