Synergy Mission Control Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Commissioning Manager to support our expanding portfolio of Data centre & Infrastructure projects. With projects across the South Coast and London, this permanent role offers flexibility, autonomy, and the chance to work with a forward‑thinking team delivering high‑performance electrical systems across cutting‑edge environments.
What You’ll Be Doing
Lead Commissioning Activities: Plan, execute, and oversee the commissioning of electrical systems including LV and MV distribution, UPS systems, generators, switchgear, and power monitoring systems. All delivered within the L1‑L5 ASHRAE (where applicable) Commissioning framework as per Data Centre industry standards.
System Validation: Perform functional testing, calibration, and performance verification of electrical installations to ensure compliance with design intent, safety regulations, and operational standards.
Troubleshooting & Resolution: Identify issues during commissioning and collaborate with engineers and contractors to implement timely and effective solutions.
Documentation & Handover: Produce detailed commissioning reports, maintain test records, and support client handover with clear performance data and compliance documentation.
Client Liaison: Act as the commissioning point of contact for clients, providing updates and technical insights throughout the process.
What You’ll Bring
- Proven experience in electrical commissioning for commercial, industrial or infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of electrical distribution systems, UPS, generators, and power monitoring.
- Ability to interpret electrical schematics, single‑line diagrams, and technical specifications.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
- An emphasis on safety and regulatory compliance across the project.
- Confident communicator with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Data centre experience is a plus, but not essential.
