Synergy Farm Health is a proudly independent Farm Animal Veterinary Practice delivering quality animal healthcare across the South and Southwest of the UK. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full-time cattle hoof trimmer to join our progressive Veterinary Technician team. The role involves working closely with our vets to deliver a high-quality service to farm clients; this position will predominantly be based in the West area of the practice (East Devon/West Dorset/Somerset).
Responsibilities
- Work with our vets to deliver a high-quality service to farm clients.
- Primary focus on cattle foot trimming; additional duties may include mobility scoring, freeze branding and other on-farm support tasks as required.
Qualifications
- Existing foot trimming experience.
- Clean, current driving licence, including trailer towing entitlement.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A vehicle and all necessary equipment will be provided.
Salary and Benefits
Salary will be commensurate with experience. Other benefits include generous pension contributions, medical insurance and a CPD allowance.
