Dental Receptionist
Part Time – 3 Days (Maternity Cover – 10 month FTC)

We are an industry leading Cosmetic and Implant Dentistry provider who are committed to ‘Lifelong Learning’. We are currently recruiting for a Dental Receptionist to join our ever expanding team in line with our ambitious and meticulous growth plans.
The Role:
- Managing the diary of the Dentist, including arranging appointments, rescheduling diaries and cancelling and rearranging appointments.
- Completing all patient recalls and incomplete treatment calls to rebook patients into the practice.
- Managing payments and money handling, inclusive of end of day reports and money management, reporting any discrepancies to the relevant management team.
- Arranging all invoices and correctly distributing them to the relevant departments within the business, in an accurate and efficient manner.
- Ordering of non-clinical stock for the practice, ensuring the budgets and requirements are adhered to.
- Ensuring all debt management calls are held and handled in a professional manner.
- Ensuring the hygiene and standards of the practices are met at all times ensuring the communal area is presentable, clean and inviting.
- Maintaining patient records and ensuring compliance and confidentiality are maintained at all times.
- Assisting patients with finance applications, from beginning to the end of process and answering any questions that they may have.
- Ensuring all Practise Policies are up to date and adhered to.
- Maintaining outstanding relationships with all customers and patients and colleagues.
- General Receptionist Duties (Incl. Answering Phones / Admin etc.)
The Person:
- A candidate with previous experience in a Dental or NHS Reception position. (Desirable)
- Someone with a welcoming and personable demeanour and strong ‘can-do’ attitude.
- Outstanding organisational skills, with an ability to multitask.
- Ability to work under pressure and a desire to grow professionally.
- Someone who is IT Proficient (Microsoft Office Packages)
- A candidate who remain calm under pressure with a natural problem solving personality.
- A natural desire to develop with a keen interest in career progression.
