We are a growing recruitment company based in Bradley Stoke, Bristol, supporting clients across a range of sectors. As our business expands, we are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper / Payroll Assistant to join our team and support our finance operations.
The Role:
This is a varied role combining bookkeeping and payroll responsibilities. You will play a key part in ensuring accurate financial records and smooth payroll processing for both internal staff and temporary workers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including invoices, receipts, and reconciliations
- Processing weekly and monthly payrolls
- Ensuring compliance with HMRC regulations and payroll legislation
- Maintaining accurate financial records using accounting software
- Handling pension contributions and auto-enrolment duties
- Supporting with VAT returns and financial reporting
- Liaising with internal teams and external accountants as required
