Our client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join their team as a Warehouse / Transport Team Captain.

Key requirements:

  • Check and amend the driver payment system according to procedures.
  • Observe all third-party distribution procedures and associated paperwork.
  • Complete relevant department control paperwork as required.
  • Process and report on all mileage and fuel usage data.
  • Communicate any identified issues with line management.
  • Meet all Health & Safety requirements.
  • Act on own initiative and work unsupervised at times.

Driver Management:

  • Pre-brief and de-brief drivers to ensure smooth operations and communication.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Good communication skills both written and verbal.
  • High visual accuracy.
  • Excellent numeracy and literacy.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Experience with computer systems and data input, specifically Excel and Microsoft 365.
  • Understanding of Health and Safety requirements within a warehouse/transport environment.
  • Knowledge of basic transport procedures and controls is desirable but not essential as full training will be given.
