We are seeking a passionate and experienced Nursery Deputy Manager to join our client’s high-quality early years setting. This role is perfect for a strong Level 3 Qualified Nursery Practitioner who is committed to delivering exceptional childcare and supporting the smooth running of the nursery.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Nursery Manager with daily operations
- Ensure full compliance with Ofsted and safeguarding standards
- Lead, motivate, and supervise staff across all rooms
- Oversee planning, observations, and EYFS curriculum delivery
- Build strong relationships with parents, children, and external agencies
- Manage rotas, staffing, paperwork, and administrative tasks
- Step in for the Manager when required to ensure seamless nursery operation
Requirements
- Level 3 in Early Years (essential)
- Strong knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding and Ofsted requirements
- Confident leader with excellent communication skills
- Ability to support, mentor and inspire a team
- Reliable, organised and passionate about early years development
