About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant (TA) to support teachers and pupils in creating a positive, engaging classroom environment. You will play a vital role in helping students develop academically, socially, and emotionally.
What You’ll Do
- Provide day-to-day classroom support for teachers and pupils across a range of subjects.
- Work one-to-one or with small groups to reinforce learning and encourage participation.
- Assist with lesson preparation, classroom organisation, and resource setup.
- Support children with additional needs, adapting activities to suit different learning styles.
- Promote positive behaviour, emotional wellbeing, and inclusion for all students.
- Supervise pupils during break times, outings, or after-school activities as needed.
- Keep accurate records of student progress and provide feedback to teachers.
What We’re Looking For
- A friendly, patient, and enthusiastic approach to supporting children’s learning.
- Experience working with children in a school, nursery, or similar setting is an advantage.
- Knowledge of SEN (Special Educational Needs) support strategies is beneficial.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students, staff, and parents.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 TA or equivalent) or a willingness to train.
