About the Role

What You’ll Do

  • Provide day-to-day classroom support for teachers and pupils across a range of subjects.
  • Work one-to-one or with small groups to reinforce learning and encourage participation.
  • Assist with lesson preparation, classroom organisation, and resource setup.
  • Support children with additional needs, adapting activities to suit different learning styles.
  • Promote positive behaviour, emotional wellbeing, and inclusion for all students.
  • Supervise pupils during break times, outings, or after-school activities as needed.
  • Keep accurate records of student progress and provide feedback to teachers.

What We’re Looking For

  • A friendly, patient, and enthusiastic approach to supporting children’s learning.
  • Experience working with children in a school, nursery, or similar setting is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of SEN (Special Educational Needs) support strategies is beneficial.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students, staff, and parents.

  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 TA or equivalent) or a willingness to train.
