We are looking for an experienced Senior Network Engineer to support the delivery of secure, enterprise-scale infrastructure within a high-security defence environment. This contract offers the opportunity to work on complex networking projects, helping to design, deploy and optimise software-defined networking solutions for mission-critical systems. Working as part of a specialist technical team, you will take ownership of network design and implementation activities while providing technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle. This is a hands-on role suited to an engineer who enjoys solving complex networking challenges in highly secure environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement and support VMware NSX-T networking solutions.
- Deliver software-defined networking (SDN) architectures across secure enterprise environments.
- Configure and troubleshoot complex network infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineers throughout project delivery.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, virtualisation and security teams to deliver integrated networking solutions.
- Maintain network security standards and contribute to continuous service improvements.
