Senior Electronics Design Engineering

An exciting opportunity has arisen with our client a leading defence prime, they are now looking to recruit a Senior Electronic Design Engineer, to work out of their Basildon site. Do you want to help deliver cutting edge high fidelity thermal imaging and airborne sensor products? Due to the growth of the business area, the client have an opportunity for an Electronic Design Engineer to join their Sensors Team. If successful, you will be joining a dedicated multi-disciplined Integrated Project Team (IPT) with a full and stretching workload presenting vast potential for personal growth and professional development. Electronic design analysis, circuit simulation and prototyping Electronic schematic capture and PCB layout support Power supply and interface circuit design for digital processors and microcontrollers High-speed digital design – including FPGA, DDR and high speed LVDS video designs Testing and debugging of electronic circuits Development of subsystem engineering solutions and specifications Cabling and connector specifications In this broad electronic engineering role, you will work across a range of projects throughout various stages of the product lifecycle from initial concept development through to early life production support and on to support of existing fielded designs. Knowledge and experience of all stages of the engineering development lifecycle Digital & Analogue Electronic design knowledge Board level PCB design (ideally using Siemens EDA Xpedition Enterprise) Specifying cable and connector solutions Domain experience in Electronics Warfare and Thermal Imaging Systems Synergize Consulting is committed to equality and diversity in our workplace.
