We are recruiting an experienced SAP S/4HANA Finance Senior Consultant to support large-scale SAP transformation programmes delivered within complex and regulated environments across the UK. This role offers the opportunity to work end-to-end on SAP S/4HANA Finance implementations, playing a key role in designing, configuring, and assuring compliant and integrated financial processes.
Please note: Due to the nature of the work, candidates must be sole British nationals, have lived and worked in the UK continuously for the past 5 years, and be willing to undergo SC Security Clearance.
Role Overview
As an SAP S/4HANA Finance Senior Consultant, you will deliver hands-on functional expertise across core Finance processes, working closely with Finance stakeholders, solution architects, and cross-functional teams to implement best-practice SAP solutions. You will support statutory compliance, enable efficient financial operations, and ensure seamless integration with Procurement, Sales, Projects, and HR/Payroll.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Finance workshops to capture requirements and translate them into SAP S/4HANA solutions
- Configure SAP S/4HANA Finance modules including GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, and Bank Accounting
- Support the design of financial close, reconciliations, and reporting processes
- Ensure Finance integration with MM (P2P), SD (OTC), PS (Projects), and HCM (Payroll)
- Produce functional specifications for WRICEF objects
- Support Finance data migration (balances, open items, assets) and reconciliation cycles
- Participate in SIT, UAT, regression testing, and cutover activities
- Provide post-go-live support and knowledge transfer to Finance users
- Contribute to project documentation including process maps, test scripts, and training materials
