Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to support the organisation's network operations and delivery function. The role will focus on the testing, deployment and operational support of HPE network device firmware and software updates across the production environment.
Key Responsibilities
Implement, operate and support network services to meet availability, performance and security requirements across LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi and associated security/network platforms.
Test and validate HPE network device firmware and software updates prior to deployment.
Deploy approved HPE network updates and patches across the production environment.
Monitor, troubleshoot and remediate issues arising from HPE network update activities.
Ensure network changes and updates are implemented in line with operational and security requirements.
Provide technical advice and support relating to HPE network infrastructure and updates.
Requirements
Proven experience working as a Network Engineer in an operational/production environment.
Strong hands-on experience with HPE network devices.
Experience testing, validating and deploying network firmware and software updates.
Strong troubleshooting and incident-resolution skills.
Experience working within controlled change and production environments.
Active SC clearance is required.
Candidates should ideally be located within approximately 1 hour of London to support any occasional onsite requirements.
Strong hands-on experience with HPE network infrastructure.
