Our client, a leading global technology consultancy, is expanding its SAP capability across the UK as part of multiple large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformation programmes. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced SAP S/4HANA Order to Cash (OTC) Solution Lead to join a well-established SAP Consulting & Delivery team, supporting complex enterprise transformations and driving end-to-end commercial process design across modern SAP platforms.
Please note: Due to the nature of the work, candidates must be sole British nationals, have lived and worked in the UK continuously for the past 5 years, and be willing to undergo SC Security vetting checks. This role may be offered on a hybrid basis depending on project requirements, with UK-wide client site travel as needed.
The role focuses on the end-to-end design authority and delivery of SAP S/4HANA Order to Cash processes, ensuring alignment between business requirements, SAP best practices, and integrated financial and commercial processes. The successful candidate will bring deep functional expertise in SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) alongside strong programme leadership capability and experience operating within structured transformation environments. In addition, experience working across complex integration landscapes, revenue accounting, tax determination, and enterprise billing processes will be highly advantageous.
Day-to-day duties may include:
- Leading the design and implementation of SAP S/4HANA Order to Cash processes including quotation, order management, delivery, billing, and revenue posting.
- Owning the OTC solution blueprint and defining integration points with Finance, Tax, Logistics, and Revenue Accounting.
- Overseeing configuration of SAP SD, including pricing procedures, billing plans, credit management, and returns processing.
- Governing and reviewing WRICEF developments impacting OTC processes.
- Ensuring billing, invoicing, and tax determination comply with regulatory and audit requirements.
- Supporting customer data migration including master data, open orders, deliveries, and billing documents.
- Driving testing strategy across SIT, UAT, and cutover phases.
- Supporting integration with FSCM, RAR, Project Systems, and external platforms such as CRM or EDI systems.
- Participating in programme governance, scope management, and risk mitigation across multiple releases.
- Mentoring functional consultants and coordinating delivery with distributed project teams.
Strong functional expertise in SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) including pricing, billing, and credit management. Experience designing end-to-end OTC processes within complex enterprise environments. Proven experience leading solution design workshops and acting as design authority. Strong knowledge of OTC integration with Finance (FI/CO) and logistics processes. Experience supporting functional testing, SIT, UAT, and deployment planning. Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills across business and IT teams. Ability to operate within structured governance and large-scale transformation programmes.
Nice to have:
- Experience with SAP Revenue Accounting & Reporting (RAR).
- Exposure to tax integration solutions (Vertex, Sovos, Avalara).
- Experience with SAP Activate methodology or agile delivery models.
- Exposure to process modelling tools such as Signavio.
- SAP S/4HANA certification in Sales or Finance modules.
- Experience working within regulated or high-assurance delivery environments.
