We are looking for an experienced Lead Integration Architect to support a secure public-sector data integration programme. This is a technical architecture role focused on designing secure integration across multiple independently managed and differently configured source systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the overall integration architecture across multiple source systems.
- Design secure federated/distributed data integration solutions.
- Define RESTful APIs, OpenAPI specifications and integration patterns.
- Design reusable integration services and source-specific adapters.
- Define data flows, common data models and source-to-target mapping.
- Consider security, access controls, auditability and resilience.
- Produce architecture diagrams and technical design documentation.
- Work closely with engineering, security, data and delivery teams.
- Support technical POC/Alpha delivery.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Active SC clearance AND NPPV3 β essential.
- Strong experience as an Integration Architect / Lead Integration Architect / Data Integration Architect.
- Proven experience integrating multiple heterogeneous systems.
- Strong API architecture experience β REST/OpenAPI.
- Experience with federated or distributed data architectures.
- Strong understanding of data modelling and source-to-target mapping.
- Experience with secure data access, authentication/authorisation and auditability.
- Experience designing for resilience and complex integration environments.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
