We are seeking an experienced DV Cleared Senior Platform Engineer to join a secure and highly complex technology programme supporting critical UK defence and national security capabilities. This role will focus on the design, delivery, integration, and support of VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) platforms within secure environments, combining hands‑on engineering with technical leadership responsibilities.
Essential Skills
- VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) - vSphere, vSAN, NSX‑T, Aria Suite
- Windows and Linux administration
- VMware and Hyper‑V virtualisation platforms
- Software‑defined data centre (SDDC) design, build and support
- Network virtualisation and micro‑segmentation
- Strong networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Firewalls)
