Synergize Consulting are now hiring for a Senior Systems Engineer to work at a leading defence client of ours on a contract basis. The successful candidate will work within a dynamic, forward-thinking engineering team, focused on obtaining, analysing and managing stakeholder requirements to develop cutting-edge service and system solutions.
Responsibilities include:
- Create system architecture diagrams, operational views, and data flows.
- Capture and document stakeholder requirements.
- Clarify ambiguous requirements and resolve conflicts between different stakeholder groups.
- Maintain requirements databases and ensure traceability from stakeholder needs through to system design and testing.
- Develop and update system models using MBSE tools.
- Produce use cases and operational scenarios.
- Conduct functional analysis to define requirements.
- Assess how proposed solutions meet user and business requirements.
Experience required:
- A strong Systems Engineering background, having ideally worked on the development of complex, integrated solutions.
- Experience capturing and analysing stakeholder needs to guide the development of service solutions suitable for future operational environments.
- Experience applying Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) approaches.
