We are currently supporting a global IT consultancy delivering cloud transformation and secure platform services into a highly secure customer environment. This opportunity is ideal for a hands-on SC Cleared AWS Technical Architect with strong experience designing secure, scalable AWS environments within enterprise or regulated environments. The role will focus heavily on AWS Landing Zone architecture, cloud networking, security, automation, and mentoring engineering teams across a major cloud transformation programme.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design secure, scalable and resilient AWS cloud architectures
- Lead AWS Landing Zone redesign and implementation activities
- Define As-Is and To-Be architecture designs and migration strategies
- Drive Infrastructure as Code and automation best practices using Terraform
- Work closely with DevOps, CloudOps and engineering teams
- Architect secure network solutions including Transit Gateway, Direct Connect and hybrid connectivity
- Implement AWS security best practices across IAM, encryption, logging and monitoring
- Support CI/CD pipeline implementation using GitHub Actions
- Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance to engineering teams and customer stakeholders
- Support cloud migration and modernisation initiatives across complex AWS estates
