We are currently looking for an experienced Third Line Citrix SME to join a specialist support team working within a secure UK environment. This is a hands-on, technical role for an experienced Citrix professional who enjoys complex troubleshooting, taking ownership of technical issues and delivering robust solutions in a large-scale enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert third-line support for complex Citrix-related incidents and problems.
- Act as a technical point of escalation for Citrix infrastructure issues.
- Support and maintain Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Citrix Cloud and NetScaler ADC.
- Lead complex troubleshooting, root cause analysis and problem resolution.
- Manage and optimise Citrix policies, profiles and the end-user experience.
- Support patching, upgrades, migrations and ongoing improvements.
- Work closely with engineering and architecture teams on Citrix infrastructure initiatives.
- Support proactive defect management and technical assurance activities.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams and stakeholders while maintaining a strong customer service focus.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in a Third Line/Senior Citrix Support role.
- Strong hands-on experience with Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops.
- Experience supporting Citrix Cloud.
- Strong knowledge of NetScaler ADC.
- Experience with Citrix Workspace Environment Management (WEM).
- Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy and FSLogix.
- Virtualisation experience, including VMware, Hyper-V and/or XenServer.
- Experience with Ivanti.
- Strong understanding of ITIL processes and enterprise support environments.
- Excellent troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
Experience with SysTrack or Nexthink would be beneficial, although training can be provided.
