We are supporting a leading technology organisation in the search for an experienced SC Cleared
Lead Infrastructure Architect to join a large-scale Managed Services environment.
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly experienced Architect who can take ownership of end-to-end architecture across complex technology landscapes, providing strategic direction, governance, and technical leadership within a major transformation programme.
The successful candidate will operate as the key architectural authority, ensuring service integrity, alignment to business objectives, and delivery against contractual commitments.
The Role
As Lead Architect, you will be responsible for
- Owning and governing the end-to-end architecture for a complex Managed Services environment.
- Providing architectural leadership across infrastructure, platforms, and technology services.
- Defining technology roadmaps, future-state architectures, and strategic direction.
- Ensuring technical solutions align with standards, governance frameworks, and client requirements.
- Acting as a trusted technical advisor to senior stakeholders.
- Managing relationships with internal teams, suppliers, and customer stakeholders.
- Supporting technical decision-making and ensuring quality across service delivery.
- Providing guidance and leadership to Domain Architects and Engineering teams.
Essential Skills & Experience
You will have
- Proven experience operating as a
Lead Architect/Infrastructure Architect within large, complex enterprise environments.
- Strong background in
Managed Services architecture and service delivery models.
- Demonstrable experience owning and governing end-to-end technology architecture.
- Strong understanding of infrastructure technologies, enterprise architecture principles, and technology strategy.
- Experience developing architecture roadmaps and future-state designs.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage at senior levels.
- Experience working within contractual and commercial environments.
