One of the U.K's leading defence primes are looking to onboard a Software Engineer on an initial Six-month contract basis to support an ongoing defence project. We are specifically looking for candidates with a background in simulation, games development or similar with live security clearance and are eligible to work on U.K eyes only projects.
Key skills- Proven background in Games or Simulation development or similar
- Strong C++ and Python/LUA experience
- Rapid prototyping experience (Able to provide a prototype to present to stakeholders in tight deadlines)
- Engine exploitation - Profiling, optimisation and customer module/plug in development
- Demonstrable experience working on security cleared projects
- Any experience with 3D modelling, HLA/DIS and UX/Human Factors would be an advantage
- Eligible or hold live SC clearance
- Any experience working within a regulated industry would be a bonus
- Take the project from conception through to delivery
- Customise game/simulation engines
- Design and implement C++, Python and Lua systems
- Support other divisions such as System Engineers, Software teams, HF designers and other IT divisions.
