Job Description:
Synergise Recruitmentare supporting a well-established refrigerated transport business with two key areas of operation. Class 1 & Class 2 Drivers (Refrigerated Transport, Adhoc Shifts)
Start Location:Bridgwater
Shifts:Adhoc / Flexible
1. Local Transport South West Region
Youll be collecting frozen and chilled goods from suppliers and cold stores across the Southwest. This includes:
- Multi-pickup work
- Managing temperature-controlled products
- Regular interaction with small and medium local suppliers
- A mix of Class 1 and Class 2 work depending on the shift
What Youll Be Doing
- Driving a Class 1 or Class 2 temperature-controlled vehicle
- Managing chilled/frozen loads and ensuring correct temperature checks
- Completing paperwork, PODs, and following customer procedures
- Communicating with transport teams to keep runs efficient and on time
- Ensuring a safe, compliant, professional approach at all times
What Were Looking For
- Valid Class 1 (C+E) or Class 2 (C) licence
- Valid CPC & Digital Tacho
- Previous experience in refrigerated transport is ideal, but not essential
- Able to work flexibly on adhoc shifts
- Good communication and a solid work ethic
- Comfortable with both local and national work depending on business needs
