Job Role & Key Responsibilities:
Our client is seeking a Refrigeration Engineer to maintain, repair, and install commercial refrigeration and air conditioning systems, ensuring safe and efficient operation across the site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out repair and maintenance of chillers, freezers, and A/C units.
- Perform mechanical and electrical work on refrigerant systems.
- Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs.
- Install air conditioning and refrigeration systems safely.
- Attend reactive service calls and perform preventative maintenance.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with safety standards.
The ideal candidate will have:
- F-Gas certification.
- Strong experience as a refrigeration, freezer, or A/C technician.
- Knowledge of commercial and industrial refrigeration electrics.
- Ability to read technical drawings.
- Good written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Leadership abilities and practical problem-solving skills.
Desirable Skills:
- Knowledge of ventilation installation.
- Experience with Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHP).
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
