Job Role & Key Responsibilities:

Our client is seeking a Refrigeration Engineer to maintain, repair, and install commercial refrigeration and air conditioning systems, ensuring safe and efficient operation across the site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out repair and maintenance of chillers, freezers, and A/C units.
  • Perform mechanical and electrical work on refrigerant systems.
  • Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs.
  • Install air conditioning and refrigeration systems safely.
  • Attend reactive service calls and perform preventative maintenance.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with safety standards.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • F-Gas certification.
  • Strong experience as a refrigeration, freezer, or A/C technician.
  • Knowledge of commercial and industrial refrigeration electrics.
  • Ability to read technical drawings.
  • Good written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Leadership abilities and practical problem-solving skills.

Desirable Skills:

  • Knowledge of ventilation installation.
  • Experience with Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHP).
