We’re looking for a Lead Engineer responsible for overseeing maintenance, fault‑finding, and daily operations across fully automated, semi‑automated, and manual production lines. The role includes managing a small engineering team, ensuring high standards of safety, quality, and uptime.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform fault finding, electrical and mechanical repairs, welding, and motor replacements.
- Conduct preventive maintenance, daily line checks, and machine inspections.
- Oversee contractors, manage inductions, health questionnaires, and sign‑ins.
- Plan and document maintenance schedules and new procedures.
- Order parts, manage stock, and liaise with suppliers.
- Support production through pre‑production checks and ongoing line monitoring.
- Represent engineering during audits and maintain compliance with health & safety standards.
- Lead a small team of engineers, providing guidance and support.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
