This is a stable, days-only position offering mechanical work across heavy plant, machinery, and site equipment.
The Maintenance Engineer Role
- Mechanical maintenance, servicing, and repair of plant and machinery
- Strip-down, inspection, rebuild, and reassembly of engines and mechanical components
- Fault-finding and breakdown response on mechanical systems
- Supporting installations, upgrades, and planned maintenance
- Participation in a rotating weekend call-out (additional pay)
- Occasional travel to nearby sites
What We’re Looking For
- Maintenance engineering experience
- Level 3 Mechanical qualification or strong hands-on experience
- Ability to strip down and rebuild engines confidently and safely
- Background in Heavy Industrial plant maintenance, or similar
