The Opportunity
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Boiler Technician to join a busy manufacturing site in the Birmingham area on an immediate contract basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on engineer with strong experience in boiler operations, water treatment, and steam plant maintenance to step into a key role supporting site operations.
Key Responsibilities
Daily operation and monitoring of site boilers and associated plant equipment
Water treatment testing, monitoring and compliance checks
Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on boiler systems
Fault finding and troubleshooting across steam and hot water systems
Working closely with engineering and production teams to minimise downtime
Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with site procedures and statutory regulations
Maintaining accurate maintenance and compliance records
Requirements
Proven experience working with industrial boilers and steam systems
Strong understanding of water treatment processes
Experience carrying out boiler servicing and maintenance activities
Relevant boiler operation qualifications/certification advantageous
Manufacturing, food, FMCG, process or industrial background preferred
Available xgikmsk to start at short notice
