Job Role & Key Responsibilities
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Boiler Technician to join a busy manufacturing environment on an immediate contract basis.
This is a hands-on role supporting the safe and efficient operation, maintenance and compliance of boiler and steam plant systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor boilers and associated plant equipment.
- Carry out water treatment testing, monitoring and compliance checks.
- Complete planned and reactive maintenance on boiler systems.
- Fault find and troubleshoot steam and hot water systems.
- Work closely with engineering and production teams to minimise downtime.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with site procedures and statutory regulations.
- Maintain accurate maintenance, operational and compliance records.
The Ideal Candidate will have
- Proven experience working with industrial boilers and steam systems.
- Strong knowledge of water treatment processes.
- Experience in boiler servicing and maintenance.
- A relevant boiler operation qualification/certification would be advantageous.
- Experience within a manufacturing, food, FMCG, process or industrial environment.
- Availability to start at short notice.

- Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting abilities.
- Good understanding of steam plant and hot water systems.
- A proactive, hands-on approach to maintenance and plant operations.
