Our client is a leading FMCG / Manufacturing business and they are looking for an electrically biased Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to support production performance and keep machinery running reliably across the site.
What you'll be doing:
- Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on production machinery
- Electrical fault finding on motors, sensors, control panels and automation equipment
- Supporting mechanical repairs when needed
- Working closely with production teams to minimise downtime
- Completing inspections, maintenance logs and all relevant documentation
- Assisting with installation and commissioning of new machinery
- Identifying improvements to boost reliability and efficiency
What you'll need:
- Electrically biased Maintenance Engineer background
- Experience within manufacturing (FMCG preferred but not essential)
- Strong electrical fault-finding skills and safe working practices
- Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics
- Mechanical ability to support wider engineering tasks
- Level 3 NVQ / City & Guilds / HNC/HND in Engineering (or equivalent)
- Apprenticeship-trained (desirable)
Nice to have:
- PLC fault-finding experience
- Industry certifications
- Forklift licence
