This is an excellent opportunity for a Maintenance Team Leader, Lead Engineer, Engineering Supervisor, Senior Maintenance Engineer or Shift Engineering Team Leader looking to join a market-leading manufacturer operating a complex, high-volume production plant.
You’ll lead a team of multi-skilled engineers while remaining hands-on with electrical and mechanical fault finding, breakdown repairs, PPMs, continuous improvement projects, and plant reliability initiatives.
The Role
- Lead and motivate a shift engineering team in a heavy industrial environment.
- Support plant reliability through effective reactive and planned maintenance.
- Carry out electrical and mechanical fault finding on automated production machinery.
- Work with PLC-controlled equipment, motors, drives, sensors, hydraulics and pneumatics.
- Coordinate engineering activities to maximise plant uptime and production performance.
- Drive health & safety standards and ensure compliance with site procedures.
- Support continuous improvement and equipment reliability projects.
- Ensure maintenance reports and records are completed accurately.
Requirements
- Time-served Engineering Apprenticeship.
- Recognised Electrical Engineering qualification.
- Previous experience as a Maintenance Team Leader, Engineering Team Leader, Lead Engineer, Engineering Supervisor or Senior Maintenance Engineer.
- Strong electrical fault-finding experience within manufacturing.
- Knowledge of PLC-controlled machinery and automated production equipment.
- Experience leading engineers within a fast-paced production environment.
- Strong understanding of motors, drives, sensors, hydraulics and pneumatics.
