We are recruiting two permanent, full‑time Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Engineers for a busy production site in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire. Full‑time, Monday‑Friday days based, averaging 42.5 hours per week with occasional weekend work.
Electrical and mechanical maintenance within a manufacturing and production environment.
Responsibilities
- Fault finding, reactive maintenance and planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across a range of plant and machinery.
- Work on motors, drives, conveyors, pumps, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, electrical panels, sensors and basic PLC fault finding.
- Schedule maintenance, breakdown response and continuous improvement activities alongside other engineers on site.
Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or completed apprenticeship.
- At least two years’ experience as a Maintenance Engineer within a manufacturing, production or FMCG‑style environment.
- Experience in high‑volume or continuous process environments an advantage.
- Confident reading electrical and engineering drawings, diagnosing faults and working safely in a production setting.
- Practical, team‑focused attitude, good communication and solid health and safety understanding.
- Right to work in the UK required.
Salary and Benefits
£46,200 per annum, along with pension, life assurance, employee assistance programme, bonus schemes, long service awards and ongoing training and development opportunities.
