Boiler Technician (Contract)Birmingham | Monday to Friday | Immediate Start

The Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Boiler Technician to join a busy manufacturing site in the Birmingham area on an immediate contract basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on engineer with strong experience in boiler operations, water treatment, and steam plant maintenance to step into a key role supporting site operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Daily operation and monitoring of site boilers and associated plant equipment
• Water treatment testing, monitoring and compliance checks
• Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on boiler systems
• Fault finding and troubleshooting across steam and hot water systems
• Working closely with engineering and production teams to minimise downtime
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with site procedures and statutory regulations
• Maintaining accurate maintenance and compliance records

Requirements

• Proven experience working with industrial boilers and steam systems
• Strong understanding of water treatment processes
• Experience carrying out boiler servicing and maintenance activities
• Relevant boiler operation qualifications/certification advantageous
• Manufacturing, food, FMCG, process or industrial background preferred
• Available to start at short notice
