Duties include: Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) Reactive breakdown repairs Mechanical fault finding Continuous improvement activities Equipment installation and upgrades Supporting production efficiency and site reliability Machinery & Equipment Working on a variety of manufacturing and packaging machinery including: Conveyors Production machinery Packaging machinery Proseal equipment Multivac systems Vacuum packers and sealers Metal detectors Labelling equipment Bearings, motors, chains and sprockets General food production machinery Requirements Mechanical Maintenance Engineer experience within manufacturing, FMCG, food production or packaging environments Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills Experience maintaining production machinery Knowledge of conveyors, bearings, motors, gearboxes, chains and mechanical systems Positive attitude and team-focused approach Career Progression This vacancy has arisen due to an internal promotion, demonstrating the company's commitment to developing and progressing its engineering team.
