Are you a Multi Skilled Engineer looking for a well-paid role within a modern, automated FMCG manufacturing environment? We are recruiting for an experienced engineer to join a fast-paced production facility operating cutting-edge processing and packaging equipment. This role would suit engineers from food, beverage, bakery, dairy, pharmaceutical, packaging or wider FMCG manufacturing backgrounds.
The Role
As a Multi Skilled Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving a wide range of automated production and packaging machinery, ensuring equipment reliability and minimising downtime. Key responsibilities include: Reactive breakdown maintenance across production and packaging lines Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) Electrical fault finding and repairs Mechanical maintenance and component replacement PLC fault finding and diagnostics Continuous improvement activities Equipment reliability and performance enhancements Supporting installation and commissioning projects Ensuring health, safety and food safety standards are maintained

What We're Looking For
Engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3, Apprenticeship or equivalent) Strong electrical fault-finding ability Multi Skilled engineering experience Previous FMCG manufacturing experience Experience working on automated machinery Knowledge of three-phase motors and drives Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings Proactive approach to maintenance and problem solving This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on engineer seeking a long-term career within a highly automated manufacturing environment.
