Overview
As an Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will play a key role in maintaining and optimising our production facilities to ensure smooth operations and high-quality output. You will work closely with production teams to troubleshoot, maintain, and improve equipment performance while upholding safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on production machinery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, operational procedures, and quality standards.
- Conduct equipment inspections and maintain accurate maintenance records.
- Assist with the installation, testing, and commissioning of new equipment.
- Provide technical support and training to production personnel as required.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency optimisation.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Engineering Technician or in a similar manufacturing role.
- Strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience with industrial equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Proficiency with relevant software and computer applications.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Level 3 NVQ in Engineering, HNC/HND, or City & Guilds Level 3 Diploma in Engineering.
- Minimum of 2-3 years\’ relevant experience; apprenticeship-trained preferred.
