We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join a manufacturing business in Rugby. The role involves maintaining and improving the reliability of production machinery, reducing downtime, and ensuring equipment runs safely and efficiently. You will be responsible for both planned and reactive maintenance, diagnosing faults, and supporting performance through continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Planned, preventative, and reactive maintenance on production and utility equipment
- Fault finding and repair on mechanical, electrical, and control systems
- Ensuring all maintenance work is completed safely and in line with compliance standards
- Supporting installations, upgrades, and improvement projects
- Maintaining accurate maintenance records and asset data
About You
- Experience as a Maintenance Engineer within a manufacturing or production environment
- Skilled across both mechanical and electrical disciplines
- Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills

- IT literate and confident using maintenance systems
Qualifications
- Time-served apprenticeship in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Minimum NVQ Level 3 qualification (HNC desirable)
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations advantageous
- Strong understanding of safety and compliance standards
