Job Role & Key Responsibilities
- As a Reliability Lead, you will play a key role within the engineering leadership team, driving improvements in asset performance and maintenance strategy.
- Working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, you will lead initiatives to enhance machinery reliability, reduce downtime, and implement continuous improvement practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead reliability and maintenance improvement initiatives across site.
- Review and optimise PPM schedules and maintenance strategies.
- Analyse asset performance to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.
- Investigate root causes of recurring breakdowns and implement solutions.
- Drive reduction in downtime and improve overall equipment effectiveness.
- Support engineering teams with fault finding and technical problem solving.
- Introduce preventative and predictive maintenance techniques.
- Promote and embed a continuous improvement and Lean culture.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve operational performance.
The Ideal Candidate will have
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
- Proven experience in a reliability or senior maintenance role.
- Strong background within fast-paced manufacturing environments.
- Demonstrated experience improving maintenance strategies and asset performance.
- Ability to analyse issues quickly and implement effective solutions.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
