We are recruiting a Machine Technician to join a busy, well-invested manufacturing site in Milton Keynes. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with a mechanical mindset who enjoys working with machinery and wants to build their technical skills in a fast-paced production environment. You will play a key role in keeping moulding machines running efficiently, maintaining product quality and supporting smooth production on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern (days & nights).

What you will be doing:

  • Running and monitoring moulding machines and ancillary equipment
  • Carrying out routine quality checks and completing production paperwork
  • Removing, cleaning and adjusting machine components within your skill level
  • Supporting breakdown response and reporting issues to supervision
  • Changing raw material bins to maintain continuous production
  • Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and safety

What we are looking for:

  • Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
  • Previous experience operating or running machinery
  • Mechanical awareness or background
  • Reliable, proactive and safety-conscious approach
  • Good communication and teamworking skills
  • Willingness to learn — full training provided on site machinery
