Why Is the Role Available? Due to continued investment in the engineering team, the business is expanding maintenance capability to improve site reliability, reduce downtime and support a 24/7 manufacturing operation.

What We're Looking For:

  • Electrical or Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

You’ll ideally have:

  • Strong electrical fault-finding skills
  • PLC fault-finding experience
  • Reactive maintenance experience
  • Ability to independently diagnose and resolve breakdowns
  • Experience within automated manufacturing environments

Essential Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, HNC or equivalent in Engineering
  • 3+ years' maintenance engineering experience
  • Electrical and mechanical maintenance knowledge
  • Planned and reactive maintenance experience
  • Fault-finding and breakdown repair expertise
  • Experience working with automated machinery
  • CMMS experience
  • Strong health & safety awareness
  • Ability to work rotating days and nights

Desirable Experience:

  • Food Manufacturing or FMCG
  • SAP and/or SCADA
  • GMP and Food Safety standards
  • LOTO procedures
  • Permit to Work systems
  • Root Cause Analysis (5 Why, 5W1H)
  • Contractor management
