Job Role & Key Responsibilities:
The Process Reliability Engineer (Electrical) is responsible for improving the reliability, efficiency, and performance of electrical and control systems across site. This role focuses on reducing downtime, enhancing asset performance, and driving a proactive, data‑led maintenance culture in collaboration with engineering and production teams.
- Lead reliability improvements across electrical and control systems
- Develop and optimise Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) schedules
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and FMEA on recurring faults
- Monitor KPIs such as MTBF and MTTR to identify trends and improvements
- Fault find on PLCs, VSDs, sensors, and control systems
- Support upgrades, modifications, and maintenance of production equipment
- Drive continuous improvement using Lean / Six Sigma principles
- Analyse performance data and present insights to stakeholders
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to prioritise work
- Ensure compliance with health & safety, GMP, and food safety standards
The Ideal Candidate will have:
- Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years' experience in reliability or maintenance engineering
- Background within FMCG or fast‑paced manufacturing
- Strong experience with electrical systems, controls, and fault finding
- Proven ability to analyse data and improve asset performance
- Experience using CMMS systems
Desirable Skills:
- Knowledge of Lean / Six Sigma methodologies
- Experience with high‑speed production or packaging equipment
- Strong understanding of RCA, FMEA, and reliability tools
- Confident communicator with a collaborative approach
- Proactive mindset with strong problem‑solving skills
