The Opportunity
As Engineering Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading and developing a team of 3-4 engineers while remaining actively involved in maintenance and engineering activities on shift. You will play a key role in improving equipment reliability, reducing downtime, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring engineering best practice is upheld across the site.
This role would suit an experienced Engineering Team Leader, Maintenance Team Leader, Lead Engineer, Shift Engineering Supervisor, or Senior Multi-Skilled Engineer looking to take the next step in their career.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, motivate and develop a team of Multi-Skilled Engineers on shift.
Coordinate and prioritise planned and reactive maintenance activities.
Carry out hands-on electrical and/or mechanical maintenance as required.
Drive preventative maintenance and asset reliability initiatives.
Reduce downtime and improve plant performance across automated production lines.
Monitor and improve engineering KPIs including OEE, MTBF, downtime and maintenance compliance.
Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety, LOTO, food safety and site standards.
Work collaboratively with Production, Quality and Operational teams to maximise performance. xgikmsk
