We are recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a leading FMCG manufacturing business based in Erith.
This is a great opportunity for an electrically biased Maintenance Engineer to join a fast-paced manufacturing environment, working across production machinery, process equipment and site services.
The role will involve planned and reactive maintenance, electrical and mechanical fault-finding, supporting production uptime and getting involved in continuous improvement activity.
The Role
- Planned and reactive maintenance on production machinery
- Electrical and mechanical fault-finding
- Working on automated manufacturing equipment
- Supporting breakdowns and reducing downtime
- Fault-finding on PLCs, HMIs, sensors, drives and control systems
- Carrying out preventative maintenance
- Supporting reliability and improvement projects
- Recording work using a CMMS system.
Skills Required
- Multi-skilled engineering background
- Electrical bias preferred
- FMCG, food, drink, packaging or manufacturing experience
- PLC fault-finding experience, Siemens preferred
- Mechanical maintenance experience
- Recognised engineering qualification or apprenticeship
- 18th Edition desirable
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
